Private Capital Convention | Toronto

The Queen’s Private Capital Group (QPCG) is excited to host its inaugural Private Capital Convention, where students will have the opportunity to learn more about private equity, venture capital, investment banking, and investing. The convention will be hosted March 30th to March 31st in Toronto. Delegates will be able to learn more about the private capital industries through a variety of exclusive firm tours, engaging workshops, panels, keynote speakers, and networking with investment professionals, and many firms are actively recruiting for summer interns. The event is open to all years, however preference will be given to first- and second-year students from any faculty at Queen’s University. Delegate applications are due Friday, March 24th at 11:59PM EST.

Sponsoring firms include CPP Investments, Barclays, TD Securities, Altas Partners, Imperial Capital, Burgundy Asset Management, Generation Capital, Sagard Holdings, KingSett Capital, and many more. Each firm will be hosting an exclusive firm tour, networking session, or workshop, nearly all of which are actively recruiting for upcoming summers.

The delegate fee is $150, which includes one night of accommodation in Toronto, transportation, networking, a reception, meals, access to all events, and inclusion in the delegate resume book that will be sent out to all firms.
